MZ-Tools for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 is an extension for the Visual Studio IDE (technically, a "package"). It is not a standalone program. To launch it, first you need to launch Visual Studio.

The MZ-Tools extension is loaded automatically when Visual Studio is launched (the setup configures it so).

If you want to disable it temporarily, go to the Tools | Extensions and Updates... window (Visual Studio 2015/2017) or Extensions | Manage Extensions... (Visual Studio 2019), Installed | Tools section, locate MZ-Tools 8.0 in the list and click the Disable button:

When MZ-Tools is loaded, it creates a main "MZ-Tools" top menu and two toolbars.

Remarks

  • Some recent versions of Visual Studio 2019 hide top menus created by extensions under an "Extensions" top menu. You can find the "MZ-Tools" menu inside that "Extensions" top menu. You can move the "MZ-Tools" menu to a top menu by clicking "Extensions" > "Customize..." and clearing the "MZ-Tools" checkbox:
