For VB6, VBA and Visual Studio for 2013 or lower the Check for Updates section of the Personal Options tab allows you to configure how to get notified about of new versions of MZ-Tools:
You can customize whether to check for updates automatically on startup or manually on this window with the Check now button. You can also click the RSS feed... hyperlink to open your browser with a page from the MZ-Tools web site that contains a RSS feed with the history of versions and changes. You can also customize the proxy configuration if required.
For Visual Studio 2015 and higher, MZ-Tools uses the built-in mechanism of Visual Studio to update extensions from the Visual Studio Marketplace. When a new version is available you get a notification in the Notifications toolwindow:
You can update the extension manually in the Extensions and Updates dialog of Visual Studio, Updates > Visual Studio Marketplace node:
Alternatively, you can configure Visual Studio to automatically update extensions in its Options window, Environment > Extensions and Updates node, Per user extensions section:
