External Operation Options

Top  Previous  Next

An external operation can have two kinds of options to configure its behavior:

  • User Options: these are options that are requested before each execution and whose values are provided by the user who is executing the operation. Examples of user options are the scope of the operation or whether or not to keep open a modified document after it has been processed. See Providing User Options.
  • Admin Options: these are options whose values are the same for each execution of the operation and that are set by an administrator in the Corporate Options window of MZ-Tools. An example of admin option is whether or not to perform a review operation before a build. See Providing Admin Options.
