external_utilities_customization

The External Utility dialog window is the following:

external_utility

For each external utility you can enter the following properties:

  • Command: the full path of the executable, script or document.
  • Description: a friendly name for the external utility.
  • Parameters: you can include your own parameters in the command line that will launch the utility. In the version MZ-Tools for Visual Basic 6.0, you can also enter special predefined variables such as Module Full File Name, Project Full File Name and Project Group Full File Name that will be replaced with the proper values before launching the external utility.
  • Open In Maximized Window: check this property to open the utility maximized. Note that some applications remember their last state and ignore this setting.
